Jerry Jones Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Athletic Hall of Fame
Stuart Dunbar is recognized for his meritorious service to KWU. Old-timers recall watching him set up his table and typewriter right on the sideline and composing the play-by-play and his story during the games. Stu was often a spectator at practice and knew the Coyotes well. Many needy athletes were the beneficiaries of a well-placed word by Dunbar, who got them the jobs they needed to stay in school, to earn their meals, and to get that winter coat. Many KWU athletes owe their education to favors from Stewart Dunbar.
