Jerry Jones Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Athletic Hall of Fame
With her unflagging enthusiasm and infectious grin, Debbie (Green) Christie was a mainstay in the early beginnings of the women's athletic program at KWU. She lettered in volleyball and softball and was a varsity cheerleader. She has had an illustrious teaching and coaching career serving both her alma mater and her profession. She earned the coveted Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Trainer certification, teaching many young people to be swimming instructors. She is also a pioneer in adaptive physical education, an author, and an outstanding contributor to women's athletics.
