Mike overcame a severe shoulder injury to return to football and twice earned NAIA honorable mention All-American.  Mike earned four letters plus two All-KCAC first team awards and one NAIA All-District selection.  Mike was a three time winner of the M.C. Cullota awards, twice for highest grades and once as best blocker.
