A four year letterman in football, Chuck was team co-captain and Most Valuable Player his senior year. He received the M.C. Cullota award as the player with the highest grades. Chuck had the second longest run from scrimmage in KWU history (86 yards). His career rushing yardage (1936) was the fifth highest. In basketball Chuck was a three year letterman.
