Jerry Jones Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Athletic Hall of Fame
Troy Martin was a phenomenal golfer for the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes in the early 1990s. In 1993 as a junior he finished third in the KCAC Championships and third at the NAIA District 10 Championships. As a senior in 1994, he was named Team MVP and was named All-KCAC and All-NAIA District 10. He was the NAIA District 10 Runner-Up that season, shooting a 3-under. Martin then served as an assistant coach for the Coyotes under the late Jim Crawford and helped coach KWU to a third place finish in the 1995 KCAC Championships. Martin continues to be active in golf, caddying for some of the world's best players – Dave Stockton, Sr., Jerry Pate, D.A. Weibring, Nick Price and Peter Jacobsen. He has played professionally and won 13 professional events worldwide. He also is the president of BucketBoy Graphics, a golf yardage book provider.
