Jerry Jones Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Athletic Hall of Fame
A three and a half year starter for the Coyotes, Dale was the complete quarterback. Dale set the career record for total offense at 5,125; the season total offense record of 2,067; and ranked fifth in game total offense (308). He had the sixth, seventh, and eighth longest passes, (70, 60, 40 yards) for touchdowns. He ranked first in game pass completions with 20, first and second in season pass completions with 117 and 104, and was first in career pass completions (267). In season passing yardage, Dale was first with 1,530 yards and second with 1,397 yards. Dale was chosen NAIA All-Region and All-KCAC in baseball in addition to being All-KCAC in football. Dale played semi-pro football and was MVP for the Wichita Warriors. In 1997 he played in Germany with the Paderborn Dolphins, the division champions.
