Jerry Jones Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Athletic Hall of Fame
One of the quickest athletes ever to attend Kansas Wesleyan University, David Harris still holds track records set back in 1982: 200 meter sprint (21.3); 4x400 meter relay (3:18.9). In football Harris was an outstanding receiver, who still holds the top spots in a pair of receiving categories: game receiving yards (196) and season receiving yards (753). He held the top three longest pass plays (91, 86 and 83 yards). He was first in season receiving yardage (753); first in career receiving yardage (1,500); first in career touchdown receptions (14); third in career receptions (68); third in season receptions (32); third in game catches (6); and fifth in season touchdowns (14).
