Jerry Jones Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Athletic Hall of Fame
Bob made his debut at KWU his rookie season in 1968 playing for Coach Ken Cochran and his 1968 KCAC Co-Champions. Bob seemed to have his best games against Bethany with 36 points his sophomore year. In 1970 the team record of 21-4 was the second best in KWU history as the Coyotes won the Northern Division of the KCAC. For his career Bob made .512 percent of his attempts and is eighth on the all-time list. Bob is the all-time coaching leader in wins at Bennington High School. He is currently the Director of the Heart of America Sports Camps based in Salina. Bob Murray is a member of the KWU 1970’s Team of the Decade.
