Tommy Abrado was a four-year letterwinner for the Kansas Wesleyan Baseball team from 1969 to 1972. The Weehauken, N.J. native was the 1972 Dean Evans MVP award winner for the Coyotes, batting .390 with 32 hits with four homers and four doubles, collecting 30 RBI, three stolen bases and scored 21 runs. On the hill he had a 6-1 record in 40 innings, allowing 37 hits, nine runs, seven earned for a 1.58 ERA with 38 strikeouts against just eight walks in the regular season. He was twice named All-KCAC and All-NAIA District 10 in 1971 and 1972.
